I’m not going to say that the release was worse than I imagined because, before the launch, I was having nightmares about New Orleans zombies trying to climb in the bedroom windows and tear me limb from limb. When in reality, no one actually rose from the dead because of lack of software quality. And while the last week has been a rolling crisis, the two pieces of good news are (1) the press has not yet caught wind of the worst of the problems and (2) the stock price is way up. A little of that stock is going to pay for 2 weeks in Spain come October. Madrid, Seville, and Barcelona.
And just like FEMA, let me reassure everyone that small armies of people are working as fast as they can to restore power and water and get your software up and running again.
